When we first created Treasure Seekers Unite it was intended to be specifically about collecting unique treasures.  (Antiques, Vintage, Handmade Creations, etc)  Over the years it has been opened up to online sellers of all venues.  It became a place for sellers to connect, share, and grow their businesses together.  We never really lost our original vision but it did get put on the back burner.

Now, we are facing the incredible task of merging the two concepts into one website.  We have found that not only is it not feasible but it can't be successful.  This is because we have two completely different types of members:

  1. Those that wish to share their love of unique treasures
  2. Those who wish to connect with other businesses to talk shop.

Some fit into both groups, while others do not.  It's not reasonable to tell the members that were used to being able to share with other sellers that they can no longer do so.  Nor is it fair to the collectors to see these types of conversations amid theirs.  So, with all of this in mind we have decided to split the two concepts, as they were originally intended to be, into two separate sister sites.

Treasure Seekers Unite will be for collectors & merchants who enjoy sharing their love of unique treasures such as vintage, handmade creations, and antiques.   eMerchants Unite will be for businesses and shop owners to connect with each other, share tips on selling online and growing your businesses together.

We will be sending out a similar notification this weekend but for those that are seeing this now please update your preferences HERE -->  TSU Registration

NOTE:  Premium members will be added to TSU and your membership status will be awarded at both sites, should you decide to join eMerchants Unite as well.  (This offer is valid to all members that upgrade their accounts before April 1, 2012)

Since the split of TSU into 2 sites, we decided to let members re-register only on the site(s) they wish to be a member of. If you're not on this list, http://www.treasureseekersunite.com/community/search/browse , you'll need to register again.
